Micromonument presented in Medicina (Italy)

On October 18th at the“Centro Diurno”of Medicina Municipality (in collaboration with the CooperativeIdaPoli”), it took place the presentation of the Micro-monument prepared during the testingof SEM.BET Methodology. It was made from the material collected in this territory. Together the Mayor of Medicina, Futura presented the project objectives and results to the citizens. The panel created will be placed in an accesible and visible area to the public. Through a QR Code It will allow connecting to connect to the Project website for a virtual viewing of the all other micro-monuments made at local and European level.fsd

2nd intergenerational meeting in Romania

1In the second activity, discovering more about the seniors and writing together memories about the pleasure of the childhood and the general characteristics of a childhood from years back, became the main objective of this session. They, all really wanted to have a little book, were important memories to find a secure place and to serve others to remember the past, as they so it.

The activity was hosted by the Association of Seniors of Timisoara, and students with different backgrounds broth their contribution to the activity,

The first part of activity was facilitated through the method of “living library”. The seniors had to make a cover with the memories they would like to share to the young people, and to write on the cover a catching title.

  • The library tour. The young students had to choose the “book” by its cover, without knowing the senior that it’s behind it. They take the favourite living book and hear the whole story
  • Writing about the recipe of obtaining the handmade toy. This is the part were seniors helped by the young students write the recipes regarding the toys they made together in the first activity.
